The health science 5k fundraiser

On Saturday, September 7th, the Health Science department partnered with the PA school in order to help raise money for their Medical Mission trip to Nicaragua. All of the money that was made went towards the medical mission trip. There was a dunk tank, the 5k, a bake sale, a yard sale, and tons of vendors including King of Pops (a popular popsicle stand) and a Thirty-One vendor. After the 5k race, they awarded the winners gift cards to Fleet Feet sports and participants and spectators were able to purchase a a different number of softballs in order to dunk a favorite professor or participant.
The participants in the 5k start their race around campus early Saturday morning.

Lauren Bell, freshman, helps with the yard sale table during and after the race. People could bring their items to the track to add to the yard sale.
