Exploring Skytop Orchard

When it comes to fall fun, Skytop Orchard is one of the best places to explore when the leaves are changing and apples are ripening. Located in Flat Rock, NC, Skytop has multiple fun activities and sweet treats to try.
A fun perk of Skytop Orchard is that if a furry buddy is tagging along for the ride then they are most welcomed, but must stay away from the market area; just take them along the side of the building and the orchard can be found from there.

Along with pre-picked apples, pumpkins, gourds and other fall decorative vegetables are sold in the Sky Top market for great prices and multiple options for anyone to enjoy.
Animals are a great way to enjoy the day. Stop by the barnyard to watch the multiple animals enjoy the cool fall weather.
A few other activities for the younger kids to enjoy include the hayride, bumblebee train and playground that include multiple photo opportunities that any mom would love.
When finding the perfect apple, Sky Top recommends that even if there is a bruise, don’t be disappointed because natural apples look that way and due to not using chemicals, the apples won’t look perfect but will taste so great and fresh. It is $20 for a basket to pick your own apples, so grab a friend and split the cost.

After picking a basket of apples, go satisfy your sweet tooth by grabbing a couple of fresh fried apple cider donuts, they are only $1 each. These treats are something that anyone from North Greenville University would enjoy and the price is well worth it and it is poor college student approved.
Just a disclaimer, around 3-6 is a really busy time for the donut line, and took about 35 minutes from personal experience. So get there as soon as possible that day to dodge the line.
