Competition shows dominate TV during the summer, with many of them rounding out towards the beginning of school. This summer is no exception, with a few new shows out this time.

“The Four: Battle for Stardom” is a singing competition that just finished up its second season. This competition begins with four incredible singers that the judges have selected beforehand. These singers include Carvena Jones, James Graham, Sharaya J and Stephanie Zelaya.

Each week, challengers choose to compete with one of these four talented singers and try to outperform them. If they are successful, the member of The Four that lost the battle must go home while the challenger takes their place as the newest member of The Four.

Season two recently came to an end, and 21-year-old James Graham was announced as the winner on Aug. 2, 2018.

This incredible singer was an original member of The Four. He was sent home on week six because he was outperformed by 17-year-old Leah-Jenea Gaines. However, week seven gave him a chance to redeem himself and earn a spot back on The Four.

After all the battles, James Graham was announced the winner of the competition on week 8 earning himself a record deal with Republic Records.

“World of Dance” is an intense dance competition that is currently in the middle of its second season.

Competitors are chosen from around the nation and brought to the World of Dance stage. The competitors are then divided into four groups: junior, junior team, upper, and upper team. These divisions are based on age and number of dancers.

The Divisional Final premiered on Sept. 5, 2018 where the top contenders from each group fought to earn a spot in the finale.

Those competing in the finale will be Charity & Andres, The Lab, Michael Demeski and S-Rank. The quickly approaching finale will be held on Sept. 12, 2018 where the act with the best score will take home the grand prize of a million dollars.

“America’s Got Talent” is a competition in which people from all over can audition, compete and show America what talents they have to offer. Season 13 of this competition is quickly coming to a close. The semifinals kicked off on Sept. 4, 2018 with some spectacular acts.

There are 16 acts remaining, and each of them have something different to bring to the table. There are singers, dancers, magicians, trapeze artists and it does not end there.

Many of the “golden buzzer” acts remain in the competition. These acts are the ones that blew the judges away so much in the beginning that they were able go straight to the live shows and skip several judge cuts. Many of these are popular acts and are predicted to win this season of America’s Got Talent.

The finale can be viewed on Sept. 20, 2018. The winner will receive a million dollars as well as a headlining show in Vegas.

Be sure to check out the finale of these shows or when the next season airs.
