When it comes to fast food, there is only one chain-restaurant leaving us in distress every Sunday and leaving us waiting for the minute their doors are open on Monday morning.

Chick-Fil-A is commonly known for their chicken fillet sandwiches and strong Christian foundation, but since the first restaurant opened in 1967, the business has expanded across the United States and now resides in 46 states.

Another trademark of Chick-Fil-A is their untouchable customer service.

Chick-Fil-A employee Thomas Deaton expresses his love for the Christian business by explaining that, “Our mission at Chick-Fil-A is to provide a quality of service that cannot be matched in the fast food industry.” Deaton further states that “the reason we are accomplishing this goal, which is reflected by our rapid expansion, is through our Christian principles.”

The food menu of Chick-Fil-A is enjoyable to every age group, but no one understands the wonders of Chick-Fil-A quite like millennials. To be more specific, millennials on Twitter.

User Patrick Lachin also expressed his desire for the fast-food by writing, “Not to be dramatic or anything but I wouldn’t wanna live in a world without Chick-Fil-A.”

Many others agree that a world without Chick-Fil-A would be unbearable, which is why the service is never disappointing.

Elementary Education major Nicole Pollard has worked at the Chick-Fil-A of North Myrtle Beach since January 2015. Pollard shares that she has “enjoyed working at Chick-Fil-A.” Pollard continues by stating that she has gained valuable friendships that she knows will last with fellow employees.

Last month, NGU announced that Chick-Fil-A is coming to our university in the upcoming fall. Students raved at the news and took to social media to express their excitement.

Heath Science major Rylee Mathis tweeted: “NGU is getting a Chick-Fil-A and I honestly can’t remember a time I’ve been so excited #ripcrusaderbucks #ilyChickFilA.”

Elementary Education major Marissa Holst confirmed everyone’s excitement over the news by tweeting, “In case y’all didn’t know, NGU is getting a Chick-Fil-A on campus and we are all crying tears of joy.”

Theatre major DeAndra Watkins subtly tweeted on February 13: “Not dropping hints or anything but tomorrow is not Valentine’s Day and I really don’t like chicken minis from Chick-Fil-A.”

Our students can barely contain their joy over returning to school for the upcoming fall semester, simply due to Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A has also been in the spotlight many times for viral videos. “My Pleasure-Jaron Myers (Chick-Fil-A Rap!)” is a YouTube video created by Christian comedian Jaron Myers.

In the video, Myers is displayed in multiple situations, rapping about the superb Chick-Fil-A service. Myers also raps about the Chick-Fil-A menu and their lack of opening on Sunday. The hilarious video has gained almost 200,000 views and has been shared on multiple social media outlets.

As a country, we may not agree on many things, but most of us can agree that Chick-Fil-A makes us hurt a little inside every time we crave the chicken on Sundays.
