Toys “R” Us is closing its doors

When most people think of toy stores, there is quite literally one name that comes to mind, and that is Toys “R” Us. However, after 70 years as the leading name in toys, Toys “R” Us is finally succumbing to the pressure of online marketplaces stealing the business of customers. If you want to add one last toy to your arsenal before the toy store closes…here’s a link.

New Jersey students suspended over gun photo

A high school in New Jersey has recently come under fire for suspending two students over a photo posted by them to social media of four rifles, ammunition clips and a gun duffel that contained the caption: “fun day at the range.” The students were both given five-day suspensions. However, the school district has received immense backlash, with many parents and residents of the area calling for a protest of the decision. The school denied the students’s suspension, saying that the information posted to social media and spread throughout the internet was false.
