Intramural Sports are a huge part of campus life at North Greenville University, but one of the biggest sports is basketball. Billy Watson, who heads intramural sports at North Greenville said, Intramural sports give students a chance for some friendly competition, to be active on campus and to stay active, and to form new relationships outside their majors.

There are 10 teams that make up intermural basketball. However, four teams have set themselves apart from the rest of the pack. These four teams are The Old Men, The Hooded Ballers, Backcourt Violators and Dragon Ball.

The first game of the playoffs will be on Feb. 26, in Hayes Gymnasium.  The playoffs will conclude on March 1, also in Hayes Gymnasium.

The non-competitive intramural basketball league, which includes six teams, will follow the same playoff schedule and it will also be in Hayes Gymnasium.

The championship game for the co-ed league will begin at 8:30 and 9:30 for the competitive league.

After Spring Break, intramural sports will be hosting softball, coed softball and coed indoor volleyball.

In order to sign up for any of these sports you can download the IMLeagues app from the App or Google Play stores or contact Coach Watson.
