Overlooked, Bible verses that are just as powerful

Most people have memorized some of the most common verses. There are also many verses that are not so common and get overlooked. Check out these five Bible verses God spoke through man that are equally as powerful as the ones we all know and love.
1. 2 Corinthians 12:9
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
This verse represents that God’s grace is enough, even in the weakest moments of life.
2. Romans 8:18
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
After reading this verse, God is saying that even though there may be suffering now, there will be incomparable glory in the future.
3. Matthew 6:34
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
This verse means don’t worry about tomorrow just worry about the struggles of today.
4. Proverbs 3:5
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
As plain and simple as it is written, this verse means do not trust your own thoughts but to trust God completely.
5. John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
Jesus is the shepherd and he gave his life for us so that we could have eternal life. God reminds us what He did for us and how we need to strive to follow His ways because of this.
