On average, 112 million people watch the famous Superbowl every year. Families and friends gather around their TVs to watch one of America’s most prolific sports. Many of them have traditions that aid in their entertainment for the night. So we here at NGU asked a few of our staff members what traditions they hold during the big game.

Professor Andrew Stephens, Communication department: We always have a big potluck meal and party inviting a few of our family friends. We really enjoy spending the quality time together regardless of who is playing in the Superbowl.

Robin McCarter, Assistant Director for Christian Worldview center: We really only have two traditions and that is watching and eating.

Leslie Brown, School Librarian: I usually get together with some friends from church and we have a big party. We have a big potluck and enjoy the party.

Anna Anderson, Business Office Receptionist: We usually have a big dinner and watch the game at my brother's house. We mostly watch the game for the commercials.

Beth Houck, Human Resources: We just make a bunch of food and root for our team. If our team isn't in the game we still watch because we love the game and especially the commercials.
