Scientists made a list of animals that would make great pets based on their danger to humans, their needs, how well they adapt to captivity and their lifestyle. Though it seems cats and dogs are the majority of family pets, these scientist have not even put them on the list of the animals that would make the best pets. Which animal is number 1? The Japanese spotted deer, believe it or not.
Utah hepatitis A outbreak hits 95 cases
The hepatitis A outbreak in Utah has reached a high of 95 cases and most of these victims were hospitalized. It seems that a lot of these patients are homeless or drug users. Hepatitis A is a preventable, contagious disease that can be spread through fecal matter or contaminated food or drink. These breakouts are happening in other places as well, and some deaths have occurred.
Mitch Margo, Singer on The Tokens’ hit “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” dies at 70
Margo died from natural causes peacefully in his bed on Friday. He led a very musical life and was a part of many music groups in his time. The most famous group he was in was The Tokens that had their chart topper song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” Margo served in the U.S. army and was an accomplished painter. His funeral will be held on Thursday at the Riverside National Cemetery in California.
