One lone Steeler stands for National Anthem
Alejandro Villanueva stood without the rest of his team during the National Anthem at the Pittsburgh Steelers last game. Villanueva served three tours in Afghanistan and has now became a sort of hero to the public. His jersey is now the sixth bestselling and searched jersey on NFLshop.com.

Lions lose due to bad judgement call on ref
Detroit Lions were losing 30-26 with less than a minute left in the game. Quaterback, Matthew Stafford hit Golden Tate with a pass which led to an assumed touchdown. The refs then overrode their first call saying Tate was down before reaching the end zone. Since there was not enough time on the clock to review the play, the Atlanta Falcons took the win.

USC vs Louisiana Tech
The Gamecock’s comeback against Louisiana on the September 23 was the biggest comeback South Carolina has seen since 2014. The team won 17-16 over Louisiana Tech.

North Greenville football advances to a 3-1 record
Saturday, September 23 the Crusaders had a 27-20 victory over Limestone college. Limestone had the early lead but the crusaders answered back and came out on top. Robbie Brown scoring the final touchdown for North Greenville.

Crusaders and Lions end in a tie game
NGU and Emmanuel both ended the game with one goal each. The lions put up the first goal in the first 12 minutes with the Crusaders answering back in the 39th minute with a penalty kick.
