This year’s global missions conference may have been cancelled due to Hurricane Irma blowing through, but you can still become involved in missions on North Greenville University’s campus.  Here are our Top 4 ways to get involved in ministry at NGU.

1.     Impact teams

Help out and volunteer with mission projects. Lead Discipleship Now weekends, children’s events, or participate in other ministry opportunities around the community. This a great way to serve others and have fun at the same time.

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:1

2.     Joyful Sound, Campus band, and BCM band

Have musical talents? Use your gifts to serve others and lead in worship through the various music groups on campus.

“Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.” Psalm 96:1-2

3.     L.I.G.H.T Teams

Get involved with global mission teams and reach out to locations around the world.

Uganda 1—Christmas Break

North Africa/Middle East—Spring Break

Cuba—Spring Break

Nicaragua—Summer

New York City—Summer

Uganda 2—Summer

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

4.     Life Answers Team (LAT)

This team provides an awesome way to practice understanding and presenting the gospel. Students will be trained and mentored and will have opportunities to defend the gospel and explain the Christian faith. Students are challenged with tough topics from scripture and have the opportunity to speak to wide variety of audiences. Plus, NGU offers a $1,000 scholarship to LAT participants.

“The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.” Philippians 1:16
