Where freedom rings

In a country where freedom of speech, the press, religion and commerce are becoming more scarce than the Cosby Show reruns one group has decided to promote the liberties of the nation. Young Americans for Liberty is an organization dedicated to training, educating and mobilizing tomorrow’s leaders to “winning on principle”. YAL is the fastest pro-liberty organization in the United States. As of 2017 YAL now consists of 900 chapters on college campuses and North Greenville University is now added to that list.
YAL is an on-campus club that works to promote free market constitutional rights and limited government. They believe in an America where people will take responsibility for their actions and create a stable society without the hand of the government. They believe in the natural rights of man as set in the constitution as well as protecting those freedoms. They hold themselves to a higher standard of morality as they know that with liberty comes responsibility. They welcome limited government conservatives as well as libertarians.
The president of the YAL chapter found at NGU is Andrew Hill, with the help of his vice president Jason Osteen and Faculty-Advisor David Entrekin. NGU now has the fourth largest YAL chapter in South Carolina as well as the largest chapter for private schools. There are currently only two meeting left but all are welcome to attend or join on April 10 and April 19 in Admin room 212.
