Review on the top five teams in college basketball
Caleb Bynum, Staff Writer
1. Kansas Jayhawks
The Kansas Jayhawks are number 1 for a reason. Kansas guards Frank Mason III and Devonte’ Graham are looking forward to a Final Four run. As well as a potential college player of the year candidate Josh Jackson, the Jayhawks are looking to dominate in March madness.
2. Villanova Wildcats
Nobody has went back to back titles since the great Florida Gators. Nova team possesses the potential to win the title again. Coach Jay wright will have his team ready for March Madness and the tournament.
3. UCLA Bruins
Lonzo Ball and the UCLA Bruins are looking good on the offense side of the ball. They have one of the worst defenses in college basketball. Can stay step on the defense side of the ball?
4. Gonzaga Bulldogs
With the best record there are number four. I honestly think they should be at least top two. The only concern about the Gonzaga Bulldogs is their defense. The ACC, Big 12, Pac 12 opponents might be a problem in the tournament.
5. North Carolina Tar heels
This North Carolina team is a really good team. They also have had some really bad losses as well. Tar Heels lost to Miami by 15, and Georgia Tech by 12. They have a really good inside game, hopefully it translates to the tournament.
