Six restaurants every North Greenville student should try before graduating

There are many delicious, well-known restaurants to choose from in the upstate. There are also many not-so-well-known restaurants that may be a little out of the way, but are worth the drive. Here are six places to eat within 30 minutes of NGU that you should try before you graduate.
#6 Red Hill Farm
Located right off highway 29 in Lyman, Red Hill Farm is a great choice when you are in the mood for a great hot dog. From the outside, it may not look like much, but inside you will find the best hot dogs around, along with different homemade meals and desserts every day of the week.
#5 Duke Sandwich Co.
Here you can find a good, plain sandwich. Dukes is located on Poinsett Highway between Cherrydale and Downtown Greenville.
#4 Southside Smokehouse and Grille
Southside Smokehouse and Grille sits on the edge of downtown Landrum on South Howard Ave. Southside Smokehouse and Grille Serves some of the best wings around. The BBQ is good too.
#3 The Dog House
Whether you are wanting wings, burgers or a hot dog, the Dog House has it all. The Dog House can be found at the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 176 in Landrum.
#2 Taco Casa
If you want to eat a lot of tacos and do not want to spend a lot of money, Taco Casa is the place for you. Found on Pleasantburg Drive, Taco Casa is a popular place for lunch on most days of the week.
#1 The Thai and I
The Thai and I is located across the street from NGU and next to the Tigerville General Store. They serve Thai fried rice along with American dishes, such as burgers and fries, for lunch and dinner. They also serve breakfast in the mornings. Within walking distance of NGU, every student should try The Thai and I at least once before they graduate.
