Review: Super Bowl LI

Super Bowl LI was one for the ages and is being looked at as one the best Super Bowls in decades. The game featured a resilient Atlanta Falcons versus a New England Patriot team that is no stranger to the “big stage” and is looking to add another ring to its already-established dynasty.

A battle erupted between Atlanta’s high-flying and high-powered offense, featuring the game’s best receivers, Julio Jones and Elite quarterback Matt Ryan, against New England, a team that seems to embody “the next man up” mentality while being able to mix that with the game’s arguable best to ever do it Tom “Terrific” Brady.

Heading into the game the “Dirty Birdz” record sat a respectable 11-4 while the New England Patriots sat at an impressive 13-2. The Falcons were led by nine-year-pro Quarterback Matt Ryan, who has managed to lead his team to the playoffs eight out of his nine seasons in Atlanta, but never reaching past the second round. While on the other side the Patriots were led by seasoned veteran Tom Brady; a one-year-vet who has seven Super Bowl appearances and has won five of them.

The game got off to an exciting start in Houston, Tx as the Falcons scored 28 unanswered points. The Falcons seem to be out to send a message that they were no underdog in this fight. With less than five minutes to go in the third quarter the Patriots managed to get points on the board. The fourth quarter seem to be owned by New England as it began to mount one the greatest comebacks in Super Bowl History by answering 28 unanswered points to send the game to overtime.

The game would come down to the last minute as the Patriots finished the game on a handoff to running back #38 Brandon Bolden for him to fight across the goal-line to end the game 28-34.
