This week in college football, the stage is beginning to be set for the show: the CFB playoffs are slowly approaching us and leaving little time for teams to prove they belong in it, as there can be only four teams. Who will it be this year — a power-house Crimson Tide team that seems to be steamrolling its way to yet another championship, a Clemson Tiger team that looks to have unfinished business , a Ohio State team that seems to be hitting all cylinders on offense, or maybe a Michigan team with only one loss coming from a top #2 team ?

Among local news the North Greenville Crusader football sits at 9-4 as they prepare to enter the 3rd round of the NCAA DII playoffs. The Crusaders have rolled through the first two rounds; traveling to Melbourne, Fla. to defeat the 7th seeded Florida Tech Panthers 27-13, in the second round they would dominate Tuskegee 45-26. North Greenville will face-off in a rematch in the 3rd round versus North Alabama the #1 seeded team in the region.

“Trust the Process”: words that the young resurgent 76ers team are living by this season. A franchise that has seen more than its fair share of loses, with a young group of talent the team is seeming to finally gel together and the future is beginning to look very bright for the city of Philadelphia’s basketball team. The Sixers new step in the right direction can be mainly attriubuted to rookie Center Joel Embiid; the former 3rd overall pick play has brought new life to this Sixer’s team.
