For the love of pumpkin: the 411 on all things pumpkin in Greenville

Pumpkin Creme Muffin from Dunkin Donuts

It’s November. Halloween is over, so your pumpkin carving and jack-o-lanterns are no longer needed. Pumpkin flavors and scents, however, are still more delicious and refreshing than ever.

Shots CoffeeHaus

Although the pumpkin spiced latte is a beloved favorite during this season, it’s not the only thing at Shots CoffeeHaus that can fufill your pumpkin cravings.

Pumpkin Chesecake Shots Coffee Haus

Pumpkin Chesecake Shots Coffee Haus

Shots Coffee Haus offers a dreamy Pumpkin cheesecake made locally by Old World Pastries. The dessert is made with a ginger cookie crust and a spiced swiss butter cream. Shots is located across from Fairview Baptist Church and is open until 5 p.m . You can enjoy this scrumptious treat with free wifi and comfy couches.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Soap from Tiny House Big Farm

Pumpkin Cheesecake Soap from Tiny House Big Farm

It’s easy to think about eating and drinking pumpkin sweets but what about wearing them?  We’re not exactly implying that you should wear a pumpkin or a shirt with a pumpkin on it, but more so suggesting you use Tiny House Big Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake Organic Soap. Tiny House is a local soap maker that has all of the scents you can dream of.  I purchased mine for $6, as well as a pumpkin cheesecake bath bomb to go with it. You can find these handmade soaps by visiting www.tinyhousebigfarm.com

Menu from Tandem

Menu from Tandem

We cannot forget about breakfast. Every year, Ihop and Denny’s offer their limited edition pumpkin pie pancakes. This year, our own Tandem Creperie in downtown Traverlers Rest is offering a Pumpkin Pie Crepe with pumpkin and graham crackers, topped with whipped cream, pecans and maple vanilla syrup. You can get all of this for $6 and pair it with a warm spiced chai latte.

Modern Forrestry

Modern Forrestry

This local pumpkin-lover’s purchase is not edible but you will definitely wish it was. Modern Forestry has created a Pumpkin Streusel Soy Candle. Its smell reminds me of a twist between pumpkin pie and brown sugar. The scent is irresistible. You can pick yours up at Foodies located in downtown Greer or at Modern Forestry for $10.

Support local shops and enjoy your favorite pumpkin flavors and scents this holiday season.
