November 7-8
Men and Women’s Conference: Join NGU for its Men’s and Women’s Conference at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Women will meet in the chapel and men at Tigerville Baptist Church. The conference will count as bonus chapel to all students who attend.
November 8
iPan Steel Band Concert at 7:30p.m. A live performance of traditional steel drums played to arrangements of modern tunes. A favorite of college students, faculty, staff and community members.
Open Mic on the Trail at My Sister’s Store from 7p.m. to 9p.m. Every Tuesday evening My Sister’s Store has an open mic night where aspiring musicians, writers and other creative outlets take the stage to share their work. Event is free and usually has a good turnout, so it is suggested to arrive early to ensure you get on the list to perform.
Woodwinds and Strings Concert at 7pm: Join NGU at the Woodwinds Strings Concert in the Hamlin Recital Hall. Tickets are required for concert.
November 9
Wednesday Night Pickleball from 6p.m. to 9p.m. Learn how to play the world’s fastest growing sport. All skill levels are welcome. Located at the Sterling Community Center just outside of downtown Greenville. $3 admission fee for the event that goes to the community center.
November 10-12
Spit Fire Grill at 7:30p.m. Join NGU for their fall play at the Billingsley Theatre. Tickets for the play are required.
November 10-13
The Shops at Greenridge: The Shops at Greenridge are having an all-weather ice skating rink to help support the USO of South Carolina. Ice skating is free and skate rentals are $6.
November 11
Needtobreathe concert at 7p.m. The music band Needtobreathe is coming to South Carolina and joining up with Parachute for one of their concerts at the Bon Seccurs Wellness Arena. Ticket prices are around $25.
Pickin’ and Grinnin’ at My Sister’s Store from 7p.m. to 9p.m. Musicians of all types and skills get together to play their hearts out in the old fashioned style. At this event, one person picks a key and everybody else plays along. Event is free.
November 12
HOPE Relay: The 34 mile or 14 mile HOPE Relay will be happening this Saturday for teams of one to four runners. Benefits go to Project HOPE Foundation’s autism program.
November 13
Breaking the Silence Event from 4p.m. to 8p.m. Cannon Centre in Greer is hosting the Breaking the Silence conference that raises awareness to end domestic violence. Tickets are $10.
November 14
Cello Concert at 7p.m. Join NGU at Hamlin Recital Hall for the performance of internationally acclaimed cellist Louise Dubin and NGU faculty member Fabio Parrini at the piano.
