Mystery, anticipation and laughter can be found in Greenville, S.C. even after Halloween is over in Ill Be Back Before Midnight — a play that will leave the audience hanging on to every word.
Greenville Little Theater is now showing a play perfect for the season. Ill Be Back Before Midnight is a thriller, but also a comedy with a mix of drama.
In Ill Be Back Before Midnight, the main character, Jan, has just been released from the hospital for a nervous disorder and her husband, Greg, rents a cabin in the country for a getaway. When they arrive, the farmer who owns the cabin tells the couple about a murder that made it haunted. Bodies start to appear and disappear out of nowhere. Because Jan seems nervous about life in general, the anticipation of the bodies is a thrill for those watching.
Jan then finds out that Gregs sister has been invited to their getaway. Jan isnt too fond of her because of a secret past. The sister also plays a role in the murder that happened previously in the cabin.
Reviews for this play are stellar. “No amount of praise seems excessive, youll either be shivering in your seat or rolling out of it with laughter, says the New York Theatre Voice.
This play is a mystery that will leave you surprised at every turn. The Greenville Little Theater will run Ill Be Back Before Midnight November 3-5 and 10-12 at 8 p.m. and November 6 and 13 at 3 p.m.
