NGU senior athlete profile: Haley Hester

Haley Hester, a senior athlete at North Greenville University, is currently playing her last season as an outside hitter on the women�s volleyball team.
Besides volleyball, Hester enjoys helping with FCA at NGU and doing outdoor activities in her free time. Fellowship of Christian Athletes i sa ministry on campus in which athletes meet on Friday mornings.
In FCA, athletes can either go to Team FCA, in which they get together and listen to a speaker preaching the Word, or they can attend Breakout FCA, in which FCA students are divided into smaller groups. Breakout FCA gives students a chance to get to know each other better because the groups are smaller.
�It has gone by really fast,� Haley said of the last four years she spent at North Greenville University. Adding, �it�s been fun, and I have enjoyed being on a smaller campus.�
Hester graduated from Palmetto Christian Academy and grew up in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Hester chose to attend NGU to major in business administration and minor in economics; she also plans on earning a master�s degree. Hester intends to ultimately use her education to work in a church or Christian camp.
