Taco Tuesday takes Greenville
Hunter Merck, Staff Writer
National Taco Day, also known as Taco Tuesday is on Tuesday, October 4 and Greenville offers many great options.
No matter what part of town you are in, you can find a good taco.
On Woodruff Road, is Tin Lizzie’s. They have an excellent selection of delicious tacos. Student, Jenna Tyrpak, asked, “Why is this the best thing I’ve ever eaten?” after eating the bacon cheeseburger taco.
A large selection of students like Asada, located on Wade Hampton. Local restaurants usually trump chains, and this one is no exception. The store front is easy to miss in the midst of the rest of Greenville, but the authentic taste keeps the customers coming back for more.
There is also a selection of taco trucks. The best one around is Automatic Taco. Student, John Bell, said Automatic Taco is a journey from beginning to end. With each bite, I taste not only savory beef and cold sour cream, but a blend of hope, freedom, and the American spirit. Asada also has a taco truck which can be found at different events across the Upstate.
