Encouragement during finals week: where does your help come from?
Georgia Gay, Staff Writer
Looks like it is that time of year again.
Students can be seen rushing around and trying to cram in as much work as possible before the semester ends.
There are last minute assignments, papers, presentations, etc. The list goes on and on. To top it all off, there are finals to be taken and grades to wait for.
With so much happening at once, it can be hard to imagine the finish line is near.
How does one keep their calm during this hectic storm? The professors at North Greenville University believe that trusting that God is in control and that we are not is something we can take comfort in. Everything happens for a reason and we must trust in God’s plans for us.
Below are eight bible verses that professors at NGU have shared that students can reflect upon during time of stress, especially during the upcoming finals week.
1. Isaiah 41:10 / Patricia Freeman / Professor of Mathematics
2. James 1:2-4 / Jayne Allege / Head coach for Lady Crusaders Basketball team
3. Luke 18:27 / Shur Gopal / Mass Communication Instructor
4. Matthew 11:25-30/ Timothy Ross / Professor of Mathematics
5. Isaiah 40:31 / Kristen van den Meiracker / Professor of Science
