First Year Experience program explained
“The First Year Experience classes are designed to orient the new students to North Greenville, to University life, and to what it takes to succeed as a college student,” said FYE Director Linwood Hagin. He explained the program teaches incoming students vital skills for making college doable, such as time management, note taking, studying and making the most of the advisors. It additionally teaches practical things like campus layout, handling relationships and even how to calculate a GPA.

For example, religious freedom: if you are a doctor and your religion doesn’t allow you to provide healthcare for divorced individuals, then I’m sorry, your religious freedom doesn’t allow you to let someone die of something that is almost completely preventable.
Whether to vaccinate is a personal choice
Vaccination should not be required for children. Not because vaccines don’t do their job. Not because most children’s immune systems work much better than the average adult’s. Certainly not because theconspiracy theorists claim it’s a government way of tracking us. No, vaccinations should not be required for the simple principle of the freedom of decision and preference.
NGU expands athletic programs
The athletic department is adding three new teams with the inclusion of men’s volleyball as well as men’s and women’s lacrosse. The three new teams will compete in Conference Carolinas, joining the 15 men’s and women’s teams currently competing.
