Pizza and wings and sandwiches! Oh, my!

At Nate’s, you can get all this and more for prices that fit the college budget. Located just a few miles from North Greenville’s campus, this casual dining establishment is a college student’s dream when you don’t want cafeteria food but also don’t want to stray too far from campus. Nate’s is even within walking distance for those without a form of transportation, those who would like to work up an appetite, or if you eat too much and need to work off calories.

With over 20 toppings to choose from, the pizza ideas are limitless – including gluten free options. The pizza crust is a bit thicker than a thin crust pizza, but if you want it made a different way, just ask. If you can’t make up your mind, choose from the 11 specialty pizzas, ranging from a White pizza to a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. If you aren’t in the mood for pizza, Nate’s offers seven different sauces for their chicken wings, premium salads and options for kids such as French bread pizzas, pizza quesadillas, and chicken fingers.

Mandy Helms said, “I loved the pizza and the convenient location compared to school. It was nice not having to go to Greenville or into Travelers Rest to get good food, but just simply go a minute or two up the road. The atmosphere was quaint and not very busy. Overall a good place to eat and hopefully will do well business wise in the future.”

If oven-baked subs is what you’re craving, then Nate’s can fulfill your need. Twelve different subs are offered daily, including a philly cheese sub (stuffed with premium rib eye, vegetables and mozzarella), an Italian (a “man’s sandwich” filled with ham, pepperoni, pepperoncini, mozzarella, vegetables and Italian dressing) or the famous chicken bacon ranch (chicken tenders smothered in mozzarella, bacon, vegetables and ranch).

For lunch options, Nate’s offers several that won’t break the bank. Lunch times are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday through Friday. Dinner options run until 9:30 every evening. On Sunday’s Nate’s doesn’t open until 4 p.m., but it stays open till the normal 9:30 p.m., but be warned, Nate’s is not open on Mondays.

For an added bonus, Nate’s offers live music every Friday evening and often features our very own students. Local groups and amateur musicians are also welcome to showcase their talents.
